Getting Along Wonderfully March 7, 2008
Posted by Zara's Mama in : my two girls, sisterly love , trackbackEvery morning when both girls wake up, they will look towards each others’ beds to check the present of the other.
If Zara found Zaria not in bed, she would ask, “Where’s Zaria?”
If Zaria found Zara not in bed, she would call, “Che-che! Che-che!” or “Zah-wah! Zah-wah!”
When Zaria roamed too far away from me in the park, and Zara saw it, she will come over and tell me, “Mummy, you follow meimei, after bad people catch her.”
Zara entertains Zaria with her songs, funny jigs or action, making Zaria giggle and laugh.
Zara watches TV over Zaria while watching TV, when the adults are busy, shouting, “Mummy, Zara climbing upstairs!” or “Mummy, Zaria got stuck in the potty chair.” etc whenever Zaria does some dangerous stunts or gets into trouble.
I saw Zara pushing Zaria in the toy shopping cart the other day, one happy to be pushed, the other happy to be pushing.
I saw Zaria combing through Zara’s hair with her fingers very gently when Zara was asleep.
Once, Zara woke up from her nap from a nightmare and she was wailing. Zaria went to the tissue box, tore out a tissue, and started dabbing Zara’s face.
Although they sometimes fight (snatching things from one another), Zara and Zaria are getting along wonderfully and it’s definitely making both Daddy and I happy.

Such good girls. Hailey is not into sharing her toys at all. She does share but very reluctantly. Hahahaha
It is such a warm n touching heart to see siblings having fun together… I an hoping that Jeriel n his sibling will also get along well..

It’s really sweet to know that they’re both getting along grand. I would be pleased to know that, if I were in your shoes. You’ve got two sensible girls there! I especially like the part about Zaria touching Zara’s hair so gently. Very heartwarming.

it’s nice when the siblings get along well ya.
ashley is much better with aidan now compared to 7-8 months ago. They can sort of play together although ashley still have issues sharing her toys with aidan..

u know, my hub has a very close relationship with his bro …even up till now and i can see that in my boys too…
actually it’s true siblings love can be observed from young and surely can be developed/encouraged. great job to Zara and Zaria…the love will grow!

I love the way Zaria shows her love by hand combing her jie jie’s hair when she was sleeping. It was just sweeeet!
so nice to have 2 so loving sisters…both my sisters are 6 and 4 yrs older than me, So i guess no loving loving moments like these ever happened to me before. Except when they used me as living barbie doll..or punching bag for my brother.

sorry i didnt read this post. i was astounded by the photo technique. where you learned to soften / blur the background!! your girls definitely will be proud of you when they see this photo style eons later!!!
