I captured some of the moments which happened during her 15th month.<\/p>\n<p>She said her first 4 syllabus word = <span style=\"color: #f88017\">Nani nani<\/span> (frangipani). She can recognise the flower, and she&#8217;ll point to it and say <span style=\"color: #f88017\">&#8220;Nani nani&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Although she\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s saying words in abbreviation, i.e. <span style=\"color: #f88017\">Nana<\/span> for Banana, <span style=\"color: #f88017\">Raff<\/span> for Giraffe, <span style=\"color: #f88017\">Bra<\/span> for Zebra, <span style=\"color: #f88017\">Pard<\/span> for Leopard. She is beginning to say some of the words in full rather than the short cut version. i.e. <span style=\"color: #f88017\">Papaya<\/span> as papaya and not <span style=\"color: #f88017\">Papa<\/span> any more.<\/p>\n<p>She starts talking in phrases, e.g.<span style=\"color: #f88017\">&#8220;Take doll doll.&#8221; &#8220;Give cock-con (pop corn).&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>She discovered sugar sachet. Once sucking on it, the pack ripped off and she tasted sugar. <span style=\"color: #f88017\">\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Weet, weet. (sweet sweet)\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/span>, and she tried sucking harder to get to the sugar.<\/p>\n<p>She is singing and the tune and words are more \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcaudible\u00e2\u20ac\u2122.<br \/>\nOld Mac Donalds sounds like <span style=\"color: #f88017\">\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Cow, Eeeya-eeya Yo. Moo there, moo there\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/span><br \/>\nTwinkle Twinkle Little Star sounds like <span style=\"color: #f88017\">\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Ker Ker Star. Up up up up high\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/span><br \/>\nSomewhere Over The Rainbow sounds like <span style=\"color: #f88017\">\u00e2\u20ac\u0153(Some)where..Oh(ver)..(the rain)Bow\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>She starts being able to identify a person is masculine of feminine, old or young. Pointing to small girls <span style=\"color: #f88017\">\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Jiejie\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/span>, small boys, <span style=\"color: #f88017\">\u00e2\u20ac\u0153korkor\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/span>, adult female <span style=\"color: #f88017\">\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Ah-tie (Auntie)\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/span>, adult male <span style=\"color: #f88017\">\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Ah-Ker (Uncle)&#8221;<\/span>, elderly lady <span style=\"color: #f88017\">\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Poh Poh\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>She knows how to say some of our names.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #cc0000\">\u00e2\u20ac\u0153What is Mummy\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s name?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #f88017\">\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Neck-Nurse\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #cc0000\">\u00e2\u20ac\u0153What\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Auntie\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s name?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #f88017\">\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Yeh-Lee\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/span><br \/>\nAnd of course her own <span style=\"color: #f88017\">&#8220;Zah-yah&#8221;<\/span> and Zara&#8217;s <span style=\"color: #f88017\">&#8220;Zah-wah&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>She can recognise and knows how to address all the family members.<br \/>\nMy sister as <span style=\"color: #f88017\">Yi-yi<\/span><br \/>\nMy PIL as <span style=\"color: #f88017\">Yeh-yeh, Ma-ma<\/span><br \/>\nMy brother and SIL as <span style=\"color: #f88017\">Ah-Ku<\/span> and <span style=\"color: #f88017\">Ah-Tim (Ah Kim)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>She started saying <span style=\"color: #f88017\">\u00e2\u20ac\u0153No\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/span>.<br \/>\nZara : <span style=\"color: #cc33cc\">\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Give jiejie back her Fifi.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/span><br \/>\nZaria : <span style=\"color: #f88017\">\u00e2\u20ac\u0153No\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Her vocabulary is pretty extensive, knowing most of the animals, objects at home, differentiating rice, bread, noodle. etc.<\/p>\n<p>She\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s very \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcmanja\u00e2\u20ac\u2122<br \/>\nWhen she falls or hurt herself, she\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll come over and ask for a hug. <span style=\"color: #f88017\">\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Pain Pain\u00e2\u20ac\u009d \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Hug Hug\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/span><br \/>\nWhen I raised my voice on her, she\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll also come over and ask for a hug, <span style=\"color: #f88017\">\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Mummy. Hug Hug.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>She\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s becoming very clingy now, preferring me over most people, sometimes even daddy.
