Zara turns 11mth today! Just like her 9th<\/a> and 10th<\/a> month summary, this is for her 11th month :
\nHer weight should be between 7.5-8kg (last we saw the PD<\/a> she was about 7.4+kg, but she feels heavier now).
\nShe’s 73.5cm tall.
\nStill with only 4 teeth.<\/p>\n

Mobility<\/u><\/strong> :
\nWalking<\/span> \u2013 She\u2019s walking more and further (~5 to 6 feet) without support
\nClimbing<\/span> \u2013 Able to climb up and down furniture (sofa, bed) with ease, however sometimes still get carried away and may loose her footing.
\nStanding<\/span> \u2013 Standing a lot now, unsupported (not more than 30s)
\nDancing<\/span> \u2013 Started dancing when she hears familiar music or nursery rhymes, dances by stamping her feet (interchange), shakes her head, and rotates herself<\/a> on the floor.<\/p>\n

Language<\/u> :<\/strong>
\nUnderstanding<\/span> \u2013 understand cause and effect (if you want biscuit, drink water first); choices (you want this CD or this CD); recollection (don\u2019t bite on the soap, remember it was very bitter?); where (where is Rusty? Where is mummy\u2019s nose? Where is the fan? Etc)<\/p>\n

Loves Reading, nursery rhymes with action and now started watching DVD, VCD on her own.<\/p>\n

Speaking<\/span> \u2013 her vocabulary has increased, besides these<\/a> :
\nMum-mum<\/span> for asking for food
\nFoo<\/span> for food
\nTeh<\/span> for take
\nPoo<\/span> for put
\nPad<\/span> for breast pad
\nPa-Pai<\/span> for Bye Bye
\nPaa-ber<\/span> for bubbles, balloons, soap suds<\/p>\n

Likes imitating what we say, however, refuses to say mummy or mama.<\/p>\n

Hands coordination<\/u> :<\/strong>
\nLikes pointing and pressing buttons (lifts, switches, key board).
\nCan pat her own mouth with her hand to make the \u2018wa, wa, wa\u2019 sound<\/p>\n

Feeding \/ Food<\/u> :<\/strong>
\nShe’s having 3 solid meals a day now. Appetite is getting better, can have half a bowl of porridge on one go.
\nStill on 5 feeds of breast milk (~4oz), and snacks a lot on fruits and biscuits throughout the day.
\nVery fussy eater<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Emotions \/ Preferences<\/u> :<\/strong>
\nAble to exert her preferences more, and express them.
\nE.g. \u201cDo you want to drink water?\u201d<\/span> Shakes head violently (Don\u2019t want)
\n\u201cDo you want biscuit?<\/span>\u201d \u201cUgh!\u201d with a smile (Want)<\/p>\n

Not afraid of strangers, but picky with whom can touch and carry her.<\/p>\n

Gives kisses to her favourite people right on the lips (mummy, and young children).<\/p>\n

1 more month and she\u2019ll be 1 years old, how time flies!<\/p>\n
