alexander, who just turned 9 months old, is abt 11.5kg -.- need to get him the toddler car seat now as he had outgrew the infant carrier. plus, it’s time for a new bed as well. kids! they grow so fast. when can we meet up?

After reading the 1st round I thought I would choose option 1. But after reading a few of the comments, I think I'd definately go for option 2 if both girls are really keen on their seats. By the time Zara overgrows her car seat, she would be about 4 or 5 years old. By them I think most kids won't be sitting in one already. Another factor is I think each girl deserves a new seat *keke* so Zara gets to keep hers and Zaria gets to have a new one instead of hand-me-downs from big sis.

For myself, Ivan is already 3 years old and still loving his car seat. Although he is already much much taller, he is still able to fit in the reclining car seat and sleep comfortably. Izac on the other hand hates the car seat :( Why I hesitated on buying a booster seat is mostly due to the reclining factor, most of them cannot recline (I guess I pamper the boy too much). I would buy another car seat in a heartbeat if I am 100% sure Izac would sit in it, Ivan is very territorial when it comes to his seat, he won't let his brother sit in it. :S

ZMM : The Rodi XP allows you to recline the seat.. but just a little. Zara sat on it and she said it's comfortable. So we'd already bought it. But what you say is true also, poor Zaria always use hand me downs only. x-(

Hi all, Thanks for giving me your opinion.

We’d finally decided to go with Option 1, as we’d checked Rodi XP out and found that it’s really very comfortable and Zara felt good siting on a ‘big chair’..

So Zaria will therefore inherit Zara’s car seat come next year.

hmm, option 1 for sure. its just 2kg diff.. you dont want to be stuck with 2 SPS and later you’d need another booster seat for zara pulak.
