Malaysian authorities seemed to disallow churches being built to look like churches. Most of the new churches are either in one of the shop lots, or built to look like a commercial building, and some even built to look like steel buildings in canada.

Gone were the nice churches like St John’s, St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church or the Holy Rosary.

It’s a sad landscape out there.
