I remember my dad said (when my grandmother past away), “it’s nothing to be sad of when a person dies after a long life” I agree! Do you?

RIP, Ah Kong.

Your posts and pics bring back loads of memories especially since my great grandmother, grandfather and then my grandmother passed away in the last 5 years. My uncle who passed away in March, I missed his wake and funeral as we were in HK then. They were all catholics and they were my firsthand at catholic funerals. Like you said, the BEC group in their neighbourhood as well as the one my aunt goes to (and thanks to you, I know what it stands for) were so helpful and although they don’t know my grandparents or uncle personally, they really went all out to assist us. It was very touching.

RIP Ah Kong.
